Jeff Green for Asik trade idea

To Celtics: Asik, Casspi, 2014 2nd round pick


Why Rockets would do the trade: Jeff Green adds firepower to already a potent lineup to prepare for the playoffs. Parsons has been injured alot lately and could be a better option off the bench. Faverani is a nice backup C that can provide Howard some rest

Why Celtics would do the trade: Looking forward to the future. Not sure if Green fits into the plan. Likely with a 2014 pick the team is going to grab one of the many talents sfs available. The rockets 2nd round pick also a nice piece to add to the rebuild.

Yeah I think that needs a follow-up trade.  You'd have Humph, Asik, Bass, Sully, Oly and no SF.

Asik would really help us out. Like tonight he would at least keep Aldridge and Lopez working harder. Lopez did whatever he wanted against us, especially on the offensive end.

Good game by Green, but again the question is what is his long term future with the team??

We don't have a designed  team ...yet......it's just. Collection of leftovers from Doc era,  trade ins, and Rookies

Good guys all....just not enough talent  ....we're starting at ground zero ..new coach and all

Portland had been drafting  high picks for years and building their team while we were competing .....so now it's our turn o suck


We have only one half season of rebuilding under our belts

pretty fair trade for both sides imo. Right now, it won't move the needle but i can see how it can be one of those types of trades that would "complete" our team eventually.
