Don't know a lot about his game but I hope we take a flier on him. A raw 7 footer with excellent athleticism for his size, looks like a poor man's Deandre Jordan but a better free throw shooter at 68%. At age 24 I think he still has upside considering he didn’t play organized basketball just until after high school.

Just noticed him recently at the Reno D-league Showcase. He is currently ranked 3rd on the D-League prospect watch averaging 15.7 pts 14.0 reb 2.4 blk.

He was waived by Golden State last December 5, 2013.

worth a chance once we trade Bass and Humphries.

The problem with guys like Dedmon and Whiteside is that, they don't know where to be on the court in many situations. Always a second or two too late. In the nba you can't just park yourself under the basket

Deandre Jordan imo got lucky that the clippers org was willing to be patient with him. Usually guys like him don't make the nba

Update: Dewayne Dedmon was called up by the 76ers. In his first game with the 76ers, he collected 7 reb 2 blk within 14 min. I hope our scouts have put an eye on this kid.
