His hand is hurt, but he has always had trouble with length. He still scores some but against real height he can falter especially if that height has bulk to match. Against skinny tall guys he does well. Against guys his height he excels. He is a skilled player but a mediocre athlete.
I want to see more of him with Humphries. I think he has a developed the attention of the refs never a good thing though. His game has to be borderline dirty because of his size and lack of athletic ability. Now they are watching him and I am sure they saw his domestic violence this summer could he be getting a punk or thug reputation with the refs?
This doesn't get focused on enough. Sully is getting way too many shots blocked and he's at best average defensively. He may be a guy who's effectiveness will be maxed by pairing him with the right 5. I'm still wondering whether his ceiling is a slight Bass/BBD upgrade.
Right now I don't know whether he's part of the long term answer here.
