The Pelicans said Friday morning that point guard Jrue Holiday will be out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia. The 6-foot-4 point guard had been the only New Orleans player to appear in all 34 games this season. The durable fifth-year NBA veteran played in 78 games last season, as well as 65 of 66 games during the shortened 2011-12 campaign. As a second-year pro in 2010-11, Holiday appeared in all 82 games.

I don't know if anyone's been keeping a tally of injured pg's this season, but it's been A LOT.

It's unbelievable what's been going on with PGs all around the league.   The injuries.

NO only keeps their pick if its top 5, With Davis, Evans and Gordan all still healthy it would take some real lottery luck for that to happen.

Maybe this puts them in the running for Andre Miller? Or a long shot they will have interest in Crawford as a band aide fix to the season?

If DA really his high on Rivers this could be his opportunity to get him for cheap. Either in a crawford deal or as a third team in a trade.

Hats off for beating me to the fact that N.O. might really need Crawfish now:-))))

How about this:

We trade Crawfish and Bogans ($7.2 million) for Jason Smith (expiring and we would have to worry about re-signing him!!!), Austin Rivers (team option next year), and Anthony Morrow (owed 1.15 million next year and then a FA).

Thoughts??

no problem with sending them Crawford but not for Rivers.  kid's as overrated as a player as his father is as a coach.

not sure of their cap but I'd take back someone on the end of their bench on a cheap deal to make the $ work and a future first.  2017 would be fine -- wouldn't mind a 2nd pick that year too.  they'd have to figure they'd have enough talent to make that pick in the mid 20's at that poitnt which is fine by me for Crawford

Smith is a key part of their rotation I dont know that they move him. Especially with Anderson also hurt. This would defeat the purpose of a keep competitive trade.

How is an injury absence indefinite. That's probably the most annoying status in  all sports, followed by Day to day, and questionable

Thank you for clarifying that NO pick. (Didn't know the pic was protected) I was starting to develop anxiety thinking about Philadelphia robbing the draft.with their tank fest.
