Charlotte is a "buyer" according to reports and they are dangling Ben Gordon's expiring contract

Bass and Hump would fit in well around Al Jefferson if they are willing to give up early on Zeller

C's drop some long term salary and get a young center out of it

plus, who wouldn't love a chucker lineup of Crawford, Gordon, Bayless, and MarShon Brooks? LOL

thoughts?

I was hoping that Hump + Crawford for Ben Gordon and the rights to Portland's 2014 1st rounder might be a possibility.

Zeller is terrible and seems VERY soft to me.  We already have that in Olynyk.

Jeff ~~ i read the same Alex Kennedy tweet, and was concocting another Charlotte 'buyer' idea.

I don't think CHA gives up Zeller that easy. But I like where you're headed.

From my perspective, they have a giant hole at the 3. They're one of the few Green buyers out there, potentially, with CLE and SAC out of the mix.

How about:

CHA gets: Green, Bass, Hump
BOS gets: Gordon, Sessions, Biyombo, Taylor

It's a deal both side would need to consider. Charlotte holds onto MKG and Zeller -- presumably these are their top young assets, but I actually like Taylor (i know he's injured) and Biyombo (take a flier on his defensive potential) better. They get MUCH deeper in the frontcourt.

BOS becomes Morey's Houston Rockets 2.0 -- tons of assets, tons of room & flexibility.

I like Jeff's idea, but Lucky17's would be even better.

Charlotte giving up already on Zeller would look very bad, so the Gordon+Portland's pick for Hump+Crawesome would be a good step in the right direction.

Danny could even explore later the possibility of sending Ben Gordon to the Sixers to help their cap floor needs, so the Cs could get another asset/more financial flexibility.

That's not bad, but what's Charlotte's rotation looking like after that? I'm only asking because this whole thread is designed around them making a playoff push.

I do t think seller would be involved but I could def see bass and or green on Charlotte come trade deadline. Sf and pf are their week spots and both would really upgrade staring lineup

Much better.

Green starts right away. So does Bass. Hump is first off the bench for them at C, where they have no depth.

They only give up one guy who is currently a key part of their rotation, and he's marginal and on an expiring, unrestricted deal.
