Is this Scenario realistic?

Trade Green and Bradley for Hayward and Marvin Williams..... Jazz tank hard but have nice young core???  ;D

Then trade Bogans Bass and  2nd round pick for Asik and Motiejunas(garbage relief for HOU)...saves HOU $$ Bogans expiring and Motie relief plus get quality PF

Somehow use our nets/hawks and our pick top draft marcus smart.

2014-2015 roster
PG: Rondo
SG: Smart
SF: Hayward/wallace
PF: Sully/KO
C: Asik/Fav

Leftovers:
Crawford, Hump, Brooks, Pressey, Bayless

I say keep Bayless and brooks

trade Hump and crawford for maybe a starting SG til Smart develops and bench role players

do whatever with pressey lol

1. I doubt Utah moves Gordon Hayward in-season. If they run into problems resigning him this offseason, then maybe a sign and trade scenario would be possible.

2. Assuming the reports were true, Bass + Lee + 1st rounder didn't land Asik, so I don't see how a lesser return lands Asik and Demo.

This is true.

I'd wait for the off season to sign Brad Stevens. Utah was not able to sign him to an extension in which it was reported that Hayward's camp is asking for 4 years/$50 million.

If we clear some cap space, I'd just offer that to Hayward (who I think is worth about $12.5 million a year but I'm probably the only one on that boat).

As to Asik, I really hope Danny just gives them a 1st rounder. This draft is deep, but I don't think there's a ton of prospect in the range that can do what Asik can (assuming he doesnt quit). Especially now that Brooklyn is starting to get it.

I hope we land Asik already. With maybe Bass + Bradley + Brooklyn first.

Then we trade for Pau Gasol with Green and Humphries and a future 1st (distant future, around 2016).

At worst, we clear $19 million with Gasol. At best, we resign him and get two seven footers that are skilled in their own ways (one scoring, one defensive) with Rondo.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

I would say you are on to something, not sure what kind of combinations/picks we need but it should be explored. The other team to look at is Detroit, they must be thinking about making some moves.

I agree with you guys i threw these together off top of my head while proctoring a test for a student lol

It would definitely be a sign and trade with Utah...unless they know for sure they can't resign Hayward now.........they may wanna get rid of him, get some quality pieces but tank hard for that number one pick.... maybe if we did bradley green and a first (ours or brooklyn) maybe BUT thats if they wanna tank bc they fear not gettin anything later for hayward......otherwise Yes we try to sign him in offseason.

IF hayward is our plan we prly need to trade Green......sometime whether for hayward or somethin lol

As far as Asik...I think Houston caves and realizes they are not gonna get much better than bass bogans a some sort of pick from anyone

I really want a lineup of:
rondo/smart/hayward/sully/Asik

maybe trade crawford to NY for Shump?

rondo/shump/hayward/ sully/asik might be nice defense lineup....assuming we trade bradley too
