I think Milwaukee does.

I understand they are getting Rondo, but they have to take on Wallace's deal, and give up Sanders to do so. If they've soured that much on Sanders, maybe neither team says no.

I still don't think Ainge is ready to ship Rondo out of town.

1) The Bucks need a star... badly. Herb Kohl wants to win ASAP.

2) We don't know how badly they may want to get rid of Sanders, and what (little) they might actually be able to get for him.

Sanders is a gamble, so to be able to get value for him might be enough... and their not getting Rondo for Sanders or Knight alone.

I'm of the opinion that they'll want to get out from under that extension desperately... especially considering Henson's improvement.

Maybe they'd rather trade Sanders for an expiring alone then give up Knight to get a star. Will be interesting to see.

I agree they want stars. Whether they believe Rajon is the right star is subjective. You say - yes. Others aren't as sure, as you know.

I don't think Danny would trade Rondo for Javale McGee 2.0.  It would be nice to dump Wallace, but Sanders' deal is almost as bad based upon his step backward this year.

At the end of the day, Celtics end up with Sanders instead of Rondo unless they are willing to give a big extension to Knight. Clearing Wallace is nice, but now they're committed to Sanders into 2018 which is iffy.

For the Bucks, it might work out as they would have zero contracts on the books for 2016/2017. So theoretically they could resign Rondo for 2015/2016, then Henson for 2016/2017, then Giannis for 2017/2018 and have free reign on the rest of the roster. Imagine if they managed to sign  a FA Drummond in 2017/2018... Rondo, Giannis, Henson, Drummond =).

Actually, Kohl's main priority is getting a new arena.

Winning would probably help engender any needed public financing to do so, which would thereby keep the team in Milwaukee.

In the battle of Neal vs. Sanders, Neal loses. He'll be shipped out of town for whatever the Bucks can get. (Actually, maybe that's a win for Neal, too.)

Sanders is the Eastern conference analog to DeMarcus Cousins: young, talented, and a loose cannon. But it'd be a stunning turn of events to cut ties with Sanders so soon after signing him.

Bucks could deal almost everyone and get draft picks. Trade Gary Neal, OJ Mayo, Caron Butler, Ilyasova, Pachulia, Ridnour, and Brandon Knight. Could get quality picks for these players.

Players that the Bucks should hang onto for the future are Larry Sanders, John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nate Wolters, Miroslav Raduljica and Ekpe Udoh.

You think I'm calling Lee a star? It's evidence they DON'T care about winning -- they'll sacrifice wins to construct a team.

As for that Bucks fan, newsflash: they're not getting assets for most of his list.
