Does anybody else realize we could have the fourth worst record (pct) at the end of today (Friday 1/10)?

Pistons vs. 76ers (W)
Cavaliers (W) vs. Jazz
Magic vs. Kings (W)
Celtics (L) vs. Warriors

1. Milwaukee
2. Orlando
3. Utah (12-26)
4. Boston (13-24)
5. Sacramento (12-22)
6. Cleveland (13-23)
7. Philadelphia (13-23)

Of course with the Eastern conference being so bad, every day has a couple matchups between tanking teams. Unless they change the rules of basketball, somebody has to win!
god that's just a sad statement about the quality of the NBA this year.

on a side note, if the Magic and/or Utah win instead, they get closer to the C's in terms of record.  really create a dense pack of teams between 11 and 15 wins.

right now there's 15 teams with between 10 and 16 wins. so much can happen so quickly from night to night to shift a team's draft position it's frightening.
Only Milwaukee seems to be way ahead in the bottom-feeder category at the moment.

I don't think anything is moving Milwaukee and Orlando out of the top 3 spots at least. Utah has some talent but they also have the benefit of being in the West and facing a tougher schedule. While all the Eastern tankers are playing each other and getting an occasional win, the Jazz be happily losing against the teams out West.

Philly wants to be really bad but it'll probably take a Thaddeus Young/Hawes trade/more suspicious MCW injuries to do it.
