I'd be tempted to start Bayless at pg when he's ready to see how Crawford does as a combo guard off the bench, which is really the only role for him going forward. Does he play as well in that situation, and does he accept the role? If he's not trade bait we'd need to find out.
I don't think Bayless is good enough to justify moving Crawford. It is one thing to move Craw to the bench for Rondo's return. For Bayless? Bayless will have to earn that promotion by actually playing well, which he hasn't been doing this season.
A guy who at most averaged 4 APG won't cut it at starting PG. That'd be a disaster.
Crawford's aren't too much better across his whole career (though the numbers are) but he has always been a very able passer, if not a willing one til this year.
Craw also has some size to allow Avery to guard the smaller guard.
But yes, people would love to bench Crawford I guess. I don't see a thing changing except Bayless gets some of Lee's mins and all Pressey's mins and then Bogans plays some.
I'm pretty optimistic and think having him over Lee will bring some more things we need (not that Lee is bad). This is assuming his shooting comes around.
