Says a lot about his future. Maybe he can play with Rondo up there while Rondo rehabs

They should've sent him there weeks ago to be honest. He's getting no run on this team.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

agree
they gave him minutes that i don't think he deserved to see what he can do
marshon can score but pretty much every other aspect of his game is sub par (see europe/china)
at d league he can work on his game or at least score a lot and someone might take him off our hands
i'd rather those scarce minutes go to keith bogans anyways, the way lee has been playing he deserves the minutes and fingers crossed  ::) ainge is going to trade crawford for someone soon, i'm ready to have pressey start til rondo is back

He is a tough fit for the pro game. Sneaky good player - like Pierce in some ways.

Glade he is gone .  ....he sits on the bench and giggles  .  He is immature , doesn't belong in the NBA.

It's funny how many people were ticked at DA for taking Johnson over  Brooks.

Brooks could still get back to the show. He needs to learn how to not "show" his move, get some better ball handling, and get his head screwed on straight. If it doesn't in the D league, he'll be Euro bound by next season...

When TWill was rumored to be signing with Maine, many people took it as a sign we were about to make a trade and then sign TWill with the big club.

To me, this seems more like a cause for that type of speculation. Why not send him down long ago? It's not like he's going to learn much in the D-League, he is going down to get burn to get in a rhythm to come back up and get PT. CBS said he isn't expected to be there long. Now, why would Brooks be getting into game shape? There are no injuries to the other guards ahead of him and he hasn't done anything to take the spot (much less the fact that RR will be out there soon). Trying to get him in game shape, for what exactly? Is he gonna get in game shape to come back up and wave a towel?? It's not like teams need to see what he can do, they pretty much know and it's not like he makes too much, they could get him for pennies if they want him. They say that we aren't going to have time for practices as sort of a reason but it's not as if we haven't been dealing with that all season.

Yea, I'm thinking something is up... a little fishy.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

People who get sent to the D-league tend not to come back... LOL

Just look at what happened with Fab Melo!

I was worried a trade would be coming and we moved him to make room.

Yea, I'm thinking something is up... a little fishy.

I was thinking the exact same thing, I wondered why he hadn't gotten any burn considering his numbers, length and potential.
I was mulling over whether or not we've been keeping him under wraps so we can sign him to a nice cheap offer sheet and build up his value once Crawford or Avery are gone.
He's much better than his playing time suggests and even with the clogged guard rotation I'm surprised our stats hungry coaching staff haven't played him more.
Keeping him under wraps and showcasing our better trade assets more?
You are very right about the T Will analogy...eerily similar.

TP
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I thought the Celtics already were a D-League team.
