I'd prefer olynyk behind sully.
I'd prefer someone who can stay above .400 FG%.

I support this  ;)

Bass maybe playing the best basketball of his life.  Hump has a great attitude and work ethic ….When the going gets ruff and we are playing a big front line team ,  I think Hump helps this team the most fighting tooth and nail for boards.

Bass doesn't get hurt much , he is rugged and reliable .  Not the brightest bulb on the court some nights….. makes nice plays and matured in to a steady defensive player.

I sorta lean toward Hump….but I like guys who slug it out in the paint (opposite of Chris Boshe)

Sort of a toss up …..either goes nice with a young quick 5 …if we ever get one. :'(

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Bass has given me the impression that he is a far superior defensive player.

Remember the defensive performance Bass gave against Melo and the Knicks in the playoffs? He moved his feet and played amazing man-to-man defense. Threw Melo off the whole round.
I like Marcus Smart

"Bass can guard Melo" is not the same as "Bass is the far superior defensive player".

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
On an off note, I am happy to see that people have gotten over the Kardashian garbage and are judging him for the player that he is on the court.

Between the two, I prefer Bass. I just think he has molded himself into a really decent basketball player and I have been happy to see his progression the last few years...Humphries is not far behind, though.

giving up on him already? This ain't Fab Melo. he may not pan out but let's not give up yet. It is why I always said we need at least KO or FAV to pan out as backups at the PF or C spots.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Even though everyone hates him I think Hump can be a solid player (with a new contract). I love Bass but this team badly needs a pf with true pf size and an above average re bounder. His shots are falling right now to, +50% I believe.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Bass guards them so well because he is the same size as a sf.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

This surely ain't Fab Melo, but may very well be Adam Morrison. My preference is that competent players play, and young players earn their minutes. Neither is happening when Olynyk is getting playing time right now.
