They're down 3 to the Cats with 18 seconds left.

Go Cats!

Bobcats can 't beat themselves much less Milsap

Is Kyle Korver the hawks 3rd best player right now?   :-X

Some people thought he was Atlanta's third best player before Horford was hurt.

Some people thought Korver was better than Horford, Milsap, or Teague?

I understand Korver is an important part of their offense because of the floor spreading he brings, but let's call a spade a spade.  He's a scorer who averages only 13ppg and is in the bottom 10 percentile of defensive players in the NBA.

Yeah, he's better than Teague. That doesn't mean that Korver is more talented than him though. Teague is a frustrating player to watch. He makes a lot of dumb mistakes, takes a lot of bad shots, and shoots way too many 3's.

Our draft night is looking better now that Horford will be out. Where do you think the Celtics will pick with their two picks in 2014?
10-20 range i dont see us getting a top 3 pick. we are not that lucky. what i'm hoping for is if this does happen we package the picks for an established player or move both picks to get higher in the draft.

I'm seeing this as well. What are the chances that both the Hawks and Nets will be in the lottery? Either way, I am crossing my fingers to see us higher in the draft

I don't wish injury on anyone either (not even Bryant) but I've always had a distaste for Horford after the little incident with Pierce during the 2008 Playoffs.

I love Pierce as next as the next Celticblogger, but that incident didn't exactly make him look like the hero.  If anything I felt bad for Horford

I actually gained a lot of respect for most of the players who stood up to the Celtics of that era.  We were pretty much bullies.

I don't really remember it but I go remember pierce was accused of throwing up gang signs of something. It seemed at the time the consensus was that pierce was more in the wrong.

For the record I love the captain aka the truth! After kg he's my favorite player.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Traded for him in my fantasy league literally a day before he got hurt.

Vucevic and Monroe for Horfie......but hey, at least he gave me 25/8? Thanks for the contribution, Al!
I like Marcus Smart

if I remember correctly the "gang signs" that pierce threw up weren't actually gang signs. it was a gesture to his teammates that he just hit a 3.

that same gesture that pierce got fined for, every player in the nba that has made a 3 since has used that same gesture at one point or another and not been fined.

I feel for you.  Fantasy ball is such heartbreak.  I had the trifecta of JO, Artest, and Stephenson and was killing my league when the brawl in Detroit happened.  Killed my season.

Have a TP to cheer you up.
