Chandler is back tomorrow. His return will be pivotal.

Yup.....a team with out there center stinks.    They will start winning again with Chandler.

Maybe one day the Celtics can have a dominate defender in the paint to prevent th layups and easy buckets .

Please ....all. Want for Xmas is the Celtics to have a quality starting calibre center. :)

Knicks are further proof of being careful of what you wish for.  Overpaying for a superstar that feels they can dictate trades is not all it's cracked up to be.

Nuggets have got to be giggling hysterically with joy right now.
Yeah, I'm sure they're really glad that they ditched Melo and proceeded to still not win a championship and get rid of their Executive of the Year GM and fire their Coach of the Year Head Coach.

Seems like it worked out really well for them.

They're probably gonna get Jabari or Wiggins or Randle.
Last time I checked the Knicks haven't won anything but the division last year since Melo joined them.

And denver is currenty 14-9 in the West and could make the playoffs and on top of that could get a top 3 pick.

I think things will eventually work out for them.

Amar'e has had his knees swell, so he's now out "a while".

Which is what happens when you play him big minutes, which is why they imposed all those minutes restrictions and back to back rules for him.
Can they amnesty him?

Funny story: the Knicks already used their amnesty on  Chauncey Billups, about a month after voluntarily agreeing to his $16 million option.

Yup, they could have bought him out for a small fraction and made the same Chandler acquisition. (might have had to shed a small contract)

That would have freed them to amnesty Amar'e and free up so much more flexibility to build around Melo.
