Green is either coming off the bench, or playing PF full time, because Chandler Parsons with his 200 lbs is patently unfit to play anything but the SF spot. Both strike me like suboptimal scenarios but I'm not spending Houston's payroll.
Suboptimal sure, but I'll take that over having a $15M backup center playing 10 mpg. I think Houston looks for better, but if nothing better comes along by Dec. 19, I could see them saying yes to this.
I'd just be surprised that they'd do that rather than add Young, who's the best player they can realistically get so far -- and perhaps use Craig Smith as an undersized backup C.
