Anybody hear Carmelo's postgame interview comments?  He says something like "I think we were all expecting a timeout to be called, but it wasn't".  He was very much throwing Woodson under the bus without doing so directly.  And the funny part is...

CARMELO WAS THE ONE CALLING FOR UDRIH TO HURRY UP AND INBOUND THE BALL TO HIM!

Yes, Woodson should have called timeout.  But Melo could have done the same thing.  That team is such a mess right now.  You can tell Melo wants out of there more and more with every loss.  And all of his teammates want the same.

I'm still shocked that Beal basically got allowed to go 1-on-1 with Udrih without any Knicks help.

Players can call the timeout too right??
Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about money, masters worry about light… I just take pictures…

Bargs was supposed to help, but never did. Its one of those things that happens with low BBIQ players.

And yeah, that might be the final nail in Woodson's coffin. There was no valid reason not to call a timeout there. 7 seconds left, down one - call the timeout, advance the ball, and try to run a play to get a decent look.

Good reason to want neither Melo or Woodson on the Celtics......

They should both be Lakers......and bring misery and suffering to them with a huge mega contract ....LoL

maybe he thought his team could score on a retreating defense rather then give the defense time to set up

I watched the end of that game. Carmelo messed up. Woodson messed up. The help defense on beal messed up/wasn't there. I would love to know what Dolan is thinking right now. His franchise is a mess. They make horrible trades, trade away draft picks like they grow on trees, sign bad players to expensive contracts.

Chandler is the only really good player the knicks have. Hopefully there's a fire sale and we can get him. Carmelo is a starter in the nba but he shouldn't be an all star. He's a ball hog with no defense. They sign stoudamire to a huge uninsured contract, which even in his prime I would suggest he wasn't worth. Bad choice there. They let Lin walk for nothing. Bad choice. They want to trade she pert when they should be developing him more. They are trying to sell low. I can't even believe they traded for bargnani. Ridiculously bad choice. They should have sign and traded copeland.

They are a very poorly run franchise. A lot of people may say it, but I mean it: I could run their franchise better than their current GM. They should be trading away chandler and melo now for picks and expirings rather than getting Lowry.
