Houston Gets : Brandon Bass 6.5m 2y, Courtney Lee 5.2 3y

Sixers Gets  : Omer Asik 8.3m 2y, Marshon Brooks or J Craw, 2015 1st from Clippers

Boston Gets  : Spencer Hawes 6.5m 1y, Jason Richardson 6.2m 2y

- Houston gets two reliable veterans and greatly help on their plan of contending now..

- It's hard to think how Asik would fill in in the Sixers Rebuilding Plan but from what I've heard Philly is interested in him http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/sbnation/sixers/SBNation_20131214_Trade_Rumor__Rockets_have_deal_in_place_with_Sixers_involving_Omer_Asik.html
To make the deal more acceptable for Philly they get Marshon Brooks or J Craw young wing players who still has upside..

- Boston gets a versatile Center in Hawes who can really fit well in Boston with his passing and outside shooting, can block shots and rebound pretty well plus his only 25 yrs old and can still develop..

I would just cut Philly out of the deal and move Lee and Bass for Asik.

Marc Stein mentioned that Houston might have interest in Bass or Green as well as a pick. No, way I give them a pick if we are giving up Green, but for Bass I would consider it.

http://espn.go.com/blog/marc-stein/post/_/id/779/omer-asik-talks-progressing

Also with Phoenix having potentially four firsts in the draft next year, maybe they would want to send one to Houston if we sent them Green.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think keeping Green at SF is smart move. ..for now

Bass is playing well,  he has improved a lot ,  but he is very redundant  .....with  Sully and Kelly as the future .

Bass makes a lot of sense for Houston .......add Lee if possible to dump salary .or pick

Asik and Sully and Green would be nice  starting front.......with Fav,  Kelly and Wallace off the bench.  ......add Rondo and AB ...this is nice team to grow into.

Somehow add a Star .....when Wallace salary is gone and we'll be a decent team again

Humphries and the Clippers Pick for Asik....works salary-wise....maybe throw in a 2nd round pick as well.Humphries is an EXPIRING Contract---and the Rockets need to free up some money to extend Parsons.

Keep Bass and Green----we need both to guard the Lebrons and Melos.

No way I trade Green in an Asik deal.

I would trade Bass filler and a first however.

Maybe I'm just high on Hawes but I really like his versatility at the Center position and also he will be a free agent next summer so if he doesn't pan out we can let him walk away.

I really don't see why the Celtics would want to trade for Spencer Hawes.

Well, if they only had to give up Marshon Brooks and Courtney Lee, that sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Well S. Hawes at 7ft1 is still young at age 25. Is currently playing a career season with the Sixers with avgs:

15.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists 1.6 blocks and 42.7% from three.

Not bad if you only give up Bass, Lee(both are not part of the rebuilding anyways), and Marshon Brooks.

Looks like our starting 5 will be make it rain from the 3s:
RR/JC
AB
Green
Sully
Hawes

If we can move Bass for Hawes or Young I think we have to take that. I'm not willing to give up 1st round picks to move any of our players (maybe a late first to move Wallace) but swapping Bass and/or Lee to get a younger, more talented or better fitting piece is exactly the kind of trades I'd like to see this season. Here are some examples that might work:
