Miami is looking to deal for a young wing player who can score and take some of the load off Dwyane Wade. A few GMs have identified Boston’s Jordan Crawford as a player the Heat will go after in the coming days/weeks. - New York Daily News

Seems James Jones or Rashard Lewis would fit the salary needed to make it happen and maybe Miami gives up a 1st rounder? Not sure if Crawford is worth a 1st rounder but given it is the Heat's its so low it may as well be a 2nd rounder anyway.

What in the world are they gonna offer? James Ennis's rights and a 2017 protected pick? Yikes.

Meh, they don't really have anything to offer.

Can't trade their '14 first. Have a Philli pick that likely ends up as a couple 2nds.

I would hold out and hope for something slightly better.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Crawford will likely be better than anyone we could land with a low first rd pick from Miami. Unless Danny doesn't plan on keeping him anyways and just wants to get a pick before he let's him walk this summer.

If they offer a 1st rounder in this year's draft I'd do it, otherwise no.

I really dont see what miami has to offer for Crawford. There's 28 other teams. Danny could get a better offer elsewhere.

Wouldn't want anything coming out of Miami anyway.

jordan crawford is worth more at this time than a late first round pick and a bench player, which is really what miami has to offer.  danny will likely hold onto crawford and include him in a larger deal.  eg: bass and crawford for someone.

i would be shocked if danny pulled the trigger on that one, especially since he can now say that crawford as received player of the week honours in the eastern conference and is on 18 per according to hollingers metric system. he has much more value right now than he has ever had his entire career.

if they take gerald wallaces contract however... maybe.

Best I could come up with is:

Crawford, Lee
for
Chalmers, Battier, Miami 1st rounder (2016)

Saves us 2 years on the Lee deal, maybe enough extra $$ to keep Bradley. Pick comes after the possibility of a breakup in Miami.

I was about to suggest Lee as a possible reason for Boston to do the deal. I like the idea of a future first from Miami too but it'd probably be protected up the wazoo.
