He deserves it just as much as the players on 2008 roster did. I'm with JSD on this. He won a ring as the coach of this team back in 2008 and did pretty well until 2010 if not 2011.

that championship was won in spite of him. Now go ahead and give him that standing O, but when you do make sure you know what it is for -- that clipper #1.

I'm gonna stand up so he can hear me boo better!  Doc is a facilitator, he facilitated a team that was hungry for a world title and facilitated a lineup that was made of all stars.  So no, he doesn't deserve a standing ovation.

The day after he admitted he totally quit on the team and city, you want to give him a standing O.  Your choice, but not something I would do. 

Also, if you didn't give Ray Allen a standing O then it would completely hypocritical to give one to Doc.
