Tonight, we got eaten alive by Brook Lopez plus dealing with Blatche and KG was no picnic.

It's not a knock vs Sully and Bass. They're just not centers and not big enough to handle 7 footers. We just need a real big or five and Faverani just looks like an awkward oaf out there.

of course. this was pretty well anticipated before the season started. the celtics have no rim protector or dominant defender...but then lots of teams dont.

but there is no rush to get one right now. the celtics under ainge have 2-3 years to see what sort of center they can get. i think ainge will do just fine either with free agency, a trade, or the draft.

Jon Henson keeps putting up lines like tonight, Larry Sanders becomes expendable baby!!!!!  Get Sanders Danny!!

Every since, Perk was traded,  Shaq hurt,  JO hurt........ KG too old ........

Duncan, Splitter, Lpoez, Anthony Davis, Cousuns , Howard , on and on......but without a serious center ,    We an't doing squat.....all these other teams with Hibbert , Marc Gasol......they have the advantage....cavs got Bynum,   Even T wolves got a huge center to contain Lopez.......

Heat is a bad model.......LbJ is a freak .....eventually he'll need a real big instead of  power forward posing ad a center to help him....when his skills decline with age .

Wiggins isn't doing squat with out a great center man to help him. Control the paint .

Maybe ......the stupid cheap owner of the Fizzliles will trade off Marc Gasol..

Knicks will destroy the celtics when Chandler returns .......here again is the importance of a great center .

Chicago has a chance long as Noah is playing ,  he is more important than Rose .



I fear 20 years will go by before a franchise big man once finds a home on the Celtics.

So here we are ...still no center .......Fav is backup ......totally sized by too many NBA centers

I wish the Celtics were far enough under the luxury tax threshold to be able to take a flyer on a center like Tim Ohlbrecht.  I would happily trade Marshon Brooks to a team with cap space for a heavily-protected second round pick to be able to do so.

  2 years ago KG was one of the better centers in the league. Last year he wasn't bad either.

Yup, a guy like Sanders would be sweet!! But, I don't see Milwaukee giving him up, especially if they can put together a potent 1-2 frontcourt between him and Henson.
