I want Jason Thompson.
Especially if we add the idea of having Greg Monroe as well. Thompson has always been a solid rebounder. And with KO and Sullinger (and the pipe dream of Monroe), we could use an athletic body next to them that has length.
(BTW, according to Hoopdata, Thompson shoots 42% from 16-23 feet (0.9 - 2.2), so even though a little, he can stretch the floor. And in todays NBA where the game is all about spacing, it could be nice...)
What do they need and could be get one of these five? Or, do we need another PF? Jason Thompson is 6'11"!!
Thoughts??

Not really interested in Jason Thompson.
He's been in the league a while now and never really managed to take the next step from being just an okay player with the physical tools to be better than okay.
Not to mention, the Celtics have 5 PFs, too.
He's actually above-okay. His career Per 36's are actually good (13.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1 block, .498 shooting). He has better numbers than Patterson and Hayes but for some reason he's not getting more playing time. But he's more than okay.
Now he's not as skilled as our bigs in Sully and KO, but what he lacks in skill, he makes up of athleticism. He will compliment those two well, as he can cover Centers and PF's, so he gets the more quicker opponent big. And if we can get him for Lee or Brooks, why not?
