i want a high pick...but i can't be mad at the team playing like this. stevens has been pretty awesome this year, and the players seem to be building chemistry and always play hard.

Wha? No trash talk from Jordan Crawford to Melo. That's the only reason I stayed till the end...

In all seriousness, I love the development of the team. And wow, Jordan Crawford is legit.

i like how stevens is having them set up and pass to guys in the paint for easy layups and layins. after spacing the floor or after running and gunning. what a breath of fresh air.

Pressey stinking up the joint.

For most of the game, he has been stuck out there with Wallace. It's like playing four on five.

Not interested in rationalizations for a player who has a 25 FG% and shoots 59% from the free-throw line.

Lol. He's an undrafted rookie who gives the Celtics a few OK backup minutes a game. I think he's doing pretty well at this point in his career. But you are right, his offense is not very good right now. He seems to have hit the undrafted rookie wall.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

we can get a high pick other ways. trades and give up future picks. All we need is one star draftee. The other star can come from a trade or........gulp........................FREE AGENCY! even though bawstahn is not known for attracting FA's in BASKETBALL.

These are my thoughts exactly. I wanted them to draft in the top five, but the chemistry they are playing with right now is sky high. I'm starting to think they are one star player away from being true contenders. I can't say i saw that coming.

Perhaps in Summer League, yes -- but his performance during the regular season has been anything but ok, even for a backup.

Rondo can't come back soon enough -- that'll really settle our guard rotation.

nah. still two stars away even once rondo returns. alot of good solid young players though in green, bradley and sully. i hope at least one of fav or KO pans out to be a great role player.

Haha, the Celtics win big and the spam bots pounce on the post-game Celticsblog viewing spike.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa

i'm thinking our pick this year will either be late in the lottery or...gulp...not even a lottery pick. but [dang]...given how we're playing, given stevens' coaching, and given that we're doing this w/o Rondo and w/ Sully playing himself back into shape, i can't be mad. i think our awesome draft picks are coming in future years from the nets, who might become one of the worst teams in the league starting next season.
