Why???
Anythony is utterly garbage - he makes Perk look like Shaq in his prime.
The 2016 1st round Pick would likely be a very low first rounder (i.e. 25-30, practically a 2nd round pick).
On the other hand Crawford has really played nice for us this year and is starting to get a little bit of attention around the league with his improved play and attitude. If he continues to play this way and Boston continues to overachieve, Crawford will be the type of player a lot of teams would have an interest in - a true combo guard with legit PG skills, who can also score in bunches.
He could be a valuable asset for us in potential sign-and-trade deals, or failing that we let him go and $5M in cap space comes off our books. Either option is far more valuable to us then Joel Anthony and a really, really low first round pick.
