Not sure if there is another thread about this, but if he keeps playing this way, do you think he could win Most Improved Player?

IMO - he's number 1 atm (granted, i hardly watch any other games unless on TV) He went from a "put him in for 4 minutes to give starters a rest" to a serious asset to any team.

What's yall opinions.
Every year there are 6-7 teams with a lower winning percentage than our current record. I think we've gotten so used to ignoring the bottom feeders since 2008 that we've forgotten how bad some teams are.

he's definitely a candidate, but not clear cut

Andre Drummond is definitely beasting right now in Detroit. His 31 and 19 the other day was just amazing.

There are other candidates as well.

Not even top 5.  Statistically, he's just not there right now:

2012 - 14.7ppg, 3.0 apg, 2.6 rpg, 0.9 spg, 40%/29%/79% shooting, 27.4 mpg, PER 14.5
2013  - 11.6ppg, 3.2 apg, 3.0 rpg, 0.6 spg, 42%/34%/81% shooting, 24.4 mpg, PER 13.8
2014 - 12.4ppg, 5.2 apg, 3.3 rpg, 1.1 spg, 43%/36%/90% shooting, 28.6 mpg, PER 17.7

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Zero chance. He may be thrust in a slightly different role this season, but he's mostly the same player, and his improvement has been marginal.

Maybe, mentally most improved, which is more important than his numbers, at least to me anyways

He is playing smarter for sure.  Most improved in nba no.  Most improved on celtics...would think sully would have to win that from performance this year compared to last

If anybody's getting MIP it's probably Sullinger. Looks on his way to a breakout year.

Crawford has gone from completely useless to pretty useful, which is great, but you usually don't get an award for that.

Nothing worse than giving MIP to a 2nd year player.  Even though it happens all the time.

Part of why I don't care for the award.

He's probably not even the MIP on the Celtics.

To me, Mike Conley is a strong candidate if he keeps it up for the rest of the season.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We didn't play a playoff calibre team, but it was a stressful game nonetheless.

Jcraw was the best player and kept his composure.

Crawford has never been "completely useless".
