Per Woj's Twitter:
Paul Pierce will miss two weeks to a month with a broken right hand, Nets say.

the injury bug - hopefully the Hawks will suck just as bad :D

sucks for the Truth, but long term wise - it benefits the Celtics

I would not be the least bit surprised if this actually helps the Nets.  They need a shakeup bad.  They need something to rally behind.  And they weren't doing very well with Pierce.

Atlanta Hawks are smiling.  They get to contend this year and get a lottery pick.

Contend for what?  To get to the Playoffs and then get bounced?

I mean sure good for them but lets be real they aren't very good still.

the real reason they have been losing is because Lopez and Deron have been hurt.  When those guys get healthy, they'll make the playoffs.

Looking at how bad the East is I still think its unbelievable they wouldn't make the playoffs as long as those two guys get healthy.

Yeah, they are currently only 1.5 games behind Toronto for the 4th seed.

The Hawks in my mind are a fragile team. If one of Hortford, Millsap, or Teague gets hurt for any period of time they are in trouble.  There are other bad teams like us that can at least tread water with an injury or 2 because of our depth.
