Who says no?

Detroit gets: Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson

Pelicans get: Greg Monroe, Charlie Villanueva, Rodney Stuckey

Detroit adds much needed shooting and balances their lineup.  Gordon and Anderson will open up the floor for Drummond inside and Jennings' drives.

Pelicans get a great, young, low post center to pair with Davis.  Davis will play off Monroe well, and cover up his deficiencies defensively.

I think Detroit probably passes given Gordon's health issues, but if they aren't going to give Monroe the max, that is the type of deal that would make some sense for them.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I'd imagine that New Orleans would need additional draft pick compensation to do that deal. Pistons fans would be ecstatic...
2013 CB Draft Champions*: Minnesota Timberwolves
DKC League: Washington Wizards

Really?  Why would they need extra draft picks?  They get a 23 year old stud center, and also get out of a pretty bad contract that could become untradable at any minute, opening up a lot of cap space this summer to add another impact player to their core of Davis, Monroe, Holiday, Evans.

For example, they could now go out this summer and make a big offer to Luol Deng to fill their SF position, before they sign Monroe.

Next year they would have a lineup of:

Holiday, Evans, Deng, Davis, Monroe.

That could be one of the best starting lineups in the league.

I think the Pelicans are in love with the idea Andersen as a stretch 4 next to Davis.

It'd have to be proven to not work before they move him. Gordon its tough to say, depends on what they think of Evans/Holidays struggles.
