Says they want Shumpert, Evan Turner, or Luol Deng.

I see some possibilities starting with Waiters and Varejao
(about $13M), maybe send back Green and Crawford?

I would rather figure out a way to give them Wallace.  Maybe Wallace, Bradley and a future first round pick (maybe the Clippers pick in 2015 which shouldn't be all that good).

I am probably being a little greedy thinking we can get Varejao for either of these combinations but both Waiters and Varejao would be good fits I think.

They are not taking Wallace.  Or Lee.  Or Bass.  Or any dumpable contract.

If they like Bradley and didn't think he would cost too much to re-sign next year, then Bradley and Brooks would work in terms of salaries and not pushing the C's into the luxury tax this year (I think.  It would certainly push them even closer to the edge than they are now).  I don't know enough about Waiters to know if that's a sensible deal, but it works with Cleveland's desire to keep room for LeBron next year, and if Waiters isn't producing offensively in Cleveland right now, then it makes them a better team.  And maybe Waiters would work better with a pg like Rondo who is a good distributor.  But I haven't heard enough of Waiters to argue that point strongly, only that the salaries make more sense.

I don't think Waiters is as good as any of those players.

They're not trading Varejao just to get rid of Waiters.

Seems like a waiter for turner deal makes alot of sense. Waiters couple be a no e fit next to carter-Williams. Turner would give the cave a Sf and scorer two things they need.

Maybe 4 wins at this point shouldn't be a surprising outcome for this team (and I would have bet before the season that the Cavs were more likely to win 30 or less rather than 41 or more.), so doing something because you feel you have to do something would be the sort of panic move that poorly-run teams do, giving up value out of a false sense of urgency.

Isn't Turner 5x the player Waiters is at this point?

This is what you get for drafting a shooting guard just to spite the Wiz*.

I think I'd offer them Avery Bradley and Marshon Brooks. Am I crazy?

Waiters has humungous potential. Like, Dwyane Wade James Harden Russell Westbrook potential. Cleveland is killing him.

We're all about potential, right? We've pretty much seen what AB can do at this point, right?
