I don't think he was stepping gingerly, he was stepping over things out of bounds.

But I think the point is that you could see he is taking a little while to slow down. Both Rajon and Marshon where running about the same speed, Marshon pulled right up and turned around, while rondo had to continue on into the stands a little bit.

He looks WAY better than I expected.  Maybe a December return is actually possible.

Injuries happen slowing down and changing directions. Not so much running full speed. Smart to be cautious.

I think you're looking too much into it.  Rondo was accelerating through the end of the run and that just carried him further out.  Brooks pulled up because he could tell he was going to lose.

He also really took a long time to stop at the end of the run, even going up a step, and was that a real smile or was he covering a bit of a grimace when he turned around...I know I do that smile over a grimace when I get a twinge.

He also had a problem going right against Lee, hence the high dribble and then had to spin back left. The first step after the spin was on his right leg and it wasn't very strong.

I'm pushing my guess for Rondo's return tot he court back from mid December to late January.
