Right now the Hawks are 19th or so (in terms of the draft) and none of their 7 wins have come against teams that currently have winning records. I wouldn't be surprised to see both picks in the mid-high teens.

I don't think the hawks will have that good of a record. Who have they beat? Who is even on their team after Teague, horford, Williams and milsap? As this season goes they will get worse and I think will struggle to make the playoffs. At some point I think the nets turn it around. I think Brooklyn gets the four seed via division title.

I think their record will be worse then most of the west and maybe a lower seed in the east causing them to not HCA in the first round.

Even if the Nets want to rebuild it will be tough because they don't have they're own pick until 2019 so even if they are bad the picks won't be good.

I think they'll get worse, though this year "struggle to make the playoffs" in the east is a very low threshold.

The east looks weak as of now. Right now only Miami, Indiana, and Chicago look legit. I do believe Brooklyn will pick it up and when NY gets healthy I think they will too. I think those five teams finish ahead of Atlanta. I look at the talent and assets on other teams and I see Washington and Detroit finishing with better records then Atlanta also. Washington has bigs and explosive talented guards who are starting to play well. Detroit is big and they have some expirings they can use to attain another piece.

I see Atlanta getting that 8th seed if horford stays healthy.

Just my opinion.

I'd need to see a lot more of the season to get as excited about the Pistons or Wizards (or Cavs) as many here. Not sure how the Knicks will do either.

Cavs and the Wizards are literally the same team as far as I can tell

The hawks suck. They're a joke of an organization and have been for years. Their best player ha horford. A nice double double player but no 20 and 10. He's the third best player on a title team. After milsap and horford the hawks best player is Teague... He's trash.

The hawks just lost to us without rondo. They had a nice lead. They suck. Keep praying Brooklyn continues to suck because if so we will have two lotto picks in 2014.

I see the Hawks as a middle of the road in the weak East....and a lower-level playoff team (depending on if the Nets, Knicks can pick it up), or a high-level lottery team.  They have a number of decent players  - as do we - but outside Horford, no one you could call a star.

I can't make out the Nets just yet...but they sure are bad now.  Clearly, despite all the so-called talent they have, as Deron and Lopez go, so go the Nets.
