Stevens on Sullinger: "He’s got a sore knee and they are doing an MRI just to check out and see what’s wrong."

Sully sacrificing his body out there. I hope it's nothing more than a sore knee from contact on that play tho. I'm over tha injury bug that's plagued this team from what could have been.

But thanks again for tha bits you pick up Sed. Always appreciated.

He's a fragile player... hence why he slipped in the draft.  His career has been injury-plagued so far.

It's a shame he's so injury prone... the kid is averaging 20 and 10 per 36 minutes.  He could have a future if he can ever stay healthy.  Big Al had a lot of injury issues early on in his career as well, though and he eventually made it.

Don't see what a random knee injury has to do with is back but okay.

Looked like his entire body rammed into his knee. I can see him getting injured from that.

Don't see what a random knee injury has to do with is back but okay.

Injuries are often interconnected--the body is coping with dealing with one imbalance and another part of your body ends up compromised as a result.

Not saying that's what happened here--and I'm no doctor--but it's not implausible.

Sure I guess but he got it taking a charge.  Could happen to anyone.

I hope Sully is ok and it's just a bruise or something. Let him sit out and rest a couple of games if he needs to let it heal. No need to push it this early.

The thing that bothers me is that he is developing great chemistry within the current rotation, especially with KO. They need to play together, you can see them looking for each other in traffic. It's almost automatic now that one hits the other with a pass (for a bucket) several plays a game.

Rather see more Vitor. Let him get the minutes if Sully misses a little.

The annoying part about this injury is that it apparently happened immediately following a missed travel.  Could have been avoided if the refs make the right call.

Just a guess, but I'm predicting a partially torn meniscus. It happens when you put on weight and play basketball. I learned the hard way.

I remember that play and wondered why somebody didn't come up hurt.....it looked like the magic player  was crossing the goallne for a TD .   He double his arms around the ball, put his head down and was driving very low to the ground.....I was what ?  Is he doing. :o

I think he ll be ok ,  he took a huge hit low with no pads ,  was a wild act to play out of control by that Magic player , not sure what he was thinking but it wasn't clear thinking.

Guessing a very bad bruised knee or sprain.

Being he is young,  maybe he can  return fairly quick.....I'd be out 10 weeks at my age.q ;D
