Kevin Love is on deck to be recruited to New York in 2015, and that's among the reasons the Timberwolves are so determined to make deals to climb deep into the playoffs these next two years. Young Minnesota players Derrick Williams and Alexey Shved are available in deals for veterans to help these T'wolves now, league executives told Yahoo Sports.

That was the former regime. New front office has been working very hard to mend fences. Love has spoken positively about the direction of the club.

I don't know about the trade, I do know that Woj nailed this madness that is the Knicks:

Yeah, that's the only deal I'd really want. Unless they offer draft picks, not much I want from them.

I know a good deal of Minn fans would love to have Green, but the best offer I've heard from fans would be Derick Williams and Shabazz. All set with that.

They definitely need another big but I think they need a C who can defend rather than a PF.

I just don't think there are enough PF minutes available behind Kevin Love to justify the salary of someone like Bass. They could try talking Minny into playing Kevin Love at center alongside an undersized PF but that is a bad plan for Minny. Doubt it'll sell.
