and you got Crawford playing like Magic Johnson with no-look passes.

It is amazing what a difference young legs make to a team. Of course you need a coach that has an eye for talent, and the expertise to harness the talent.

Thanks Danny!!!

Other than the Trade for KG and Ray,
Hiring Brad Stevens was one of his best moves as a GM.

A week ago everyone was lambasting Stevens saying he didn't have a clue how to set rotations and other stuff. Now he is a genius that is world's better than our last coach that was able to deliver a championship, two trips to the finals and three trips to the conference finals.

What happens when we hit a tough part of the schedule and lose 5-7 games in a row? Does Stevens revert back to being an idiot?

Knowing Celticsblog....yeah probably.

Brad Stevens passed his first test.

When we lost three straight and Gerald Wallace was openly calling out his teammates I posted that this was CBS's first test. He could very well lose the team and go on a long losing streak. I wondered how he would react to a vet openly calling out teammates.

Well we have seen his response. He corralled the team and we have a four game winning streak.

As for the Gerald Wallace matter, CBS did not seem to be affected in any way by that he just went about his business, and made the moves he felt was best for the team.
Good for him. I thought he was a solid hire from day one. He is a basketball coach period. That does not mean he wont have rough patches along the way. When it does, it wont be because we hired a bad coach, because we did not. We have a solid coach, and we have him locked up for years.

Coaches are a bit like quarterbacks, in the sense that a team's successes and failures tend to go far beyond their control, and yet they wind up with a lot of the praise or the scorn.

Will Brad Stevens still be such a great coach if we finish 18-64?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

glenn can thank PP and KF and even RA for those trips to the finals and that title. we should have had 3 trips to the finals and at least two titles but thanks to doc that did not happen. it is obvious why. it has been discussed here ad nauseum and i am not going over it again just for you.

Nope we are back to the 1970's with uptempo basketball and higher possession counts. I can tell that Brandon Bass and Courtney Lee are loving life now. Gerald Wallace is certainly earning his keep with his intensity off the bench. I wonder how Doc's Clippers and KG/PP Nets are doing these days.

Surprise Surprise!!! Boston and Philly lead the Atlantic Division just like the good old days of John Havlicek, Dave Cowens, Don Chaney, Paul Silas and Jo Jo White.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

It was real enjoyable seeing the Celtics put up 120. I feel like we've seen so many defensive battles over the past 4-5 years where they usually end up only scoring like 85-90 points, but it's cool to see a change

Yep. It's obvious how Doc screwed up this franchise.  He should be ashamed of himself!  Obviously Doc put that bone spur in KG's knee, dislocated Rondo's elbow, and snapped Perk's ACL.  I KNOW he was the one who dislocated both Bradley's shoulders, then put bone spurs in Ray's ankles for good measure.  Bestid.
Good food, like good music and good love, always requires a little sweat in the making in order for it to be truly memorable.

Who knows maybe that start of season 0-4 run was Glenn's fault too. You know withdrawal symptoms and all. Even the quality of this post is his fault.
