I love Felger and Mazz.  They are not that good with B-Ball and are much better with the other sports but you guys make it sound like they are the only two guys on the planet who thought the C's would tank this season.  Or who think they should tank.

Ironicly Felger is using the fact that both of the channels he works for  now carry the Celtics so he has to start rooting for what's best for them instead of hating on them as he usually does because, as Triple H would say, it's best for business.

I'd rather slam my private parts in a door than listen to anything Felger says.

Felger knows very little about basketball.  Mazz knows enough to not make a fool of himself, but he always follows Felger's lead.

Felger is a hater, especially when it comes to the Celtics and the NBA.  It's too bad, because I do enjoy listening to Felger and Mazz's takes on the Red Sox and the Patriots.  They're pretty much useless otherwise, however, unless you enjoy hockey.

Felger and Mazz are by far the best show in the city....Yes, basketball is not his forte but he freely admits that.  Give the guy credit for not walking the company line, since his employer has contract's with the C's.  Felger just doesn't like basketball, he actually liked the Paul and KG era.  Always talking about how gritty and clutch they were.  He, like me is a person that believes that tanking is the best way to go because we are afraid of turning into the Atlanta Hawks.  Hopefully I am wrong but I feel like getting a top 5 pick is the best way to go.

I thought it was just me.

Add to that that their style is very much unclassy, prepotent(if the world exist), and pretty much cero argument. and just i think that because I think that.

This whole tank thing is a bogus concept. Any NBA player in the league wants the same thing. They want to showcase their talents ,and hopefully make some money in the process. It is up to the head coaches to make them into a playoff worthy team. I live in the Midwest and bleed Celtic green. I watch Felger & Mazz at times for info on the Celtics. They do seem to bypass the Celtics on there show. Tommy's comment on them was classic.

It's not even them talking about us tanking it's just that they seriously don't know anything about basketball.
+1

They really don't, and often revel in their ignorance like a reddit troll.

It's frustrating that the Sports Hub airs the Celtics games, yet the hosts on probably their "primetime" show either know next to nothing about basketball or just dislike the Celtics

It's not like WEEI had any clue either. Their afternoon guys were poor, and  the morning hosts -- worse.

I like listening to felger and mazz.  I think they are funny, articulate, and make a lot of good points on things other than bball.  I think mazz knows a little hoops but he is felger's puppet and goes along with whatever he says/feels.

I like Felger and Mazz because they are not homers, especially to the Pats.  One of the few media outlets in this market who don't worship BB....The only time I got fed up with Mazz was how pig headed he was with the Sox this year...

+1 to you too.  That's really the thing, reveling in ignorance.  If they just brought it up and kind of let the fans sound off on the phones that'd be one thing.

I like them too.

And agree that they hate basketball a lot more than anything with Celtics. They usually praise the organization and Danny, and previously had Doc.

Yeah they are critical of guys lile Rondo or Lebron or whoever at times, just lile everyone else in the world.

I don't agree with the tanking strategy but its not like they are the only ones. I also listen for mere entertainment and am not really to shaken by anytjing they really say.
