Thank you Washington!

Don't want to get ahead of myself, but I never thought in a million years Crawford was capable of this. Terrific play.

So I guess you weren't paying much attention when he was averaging 16 ppg and 4 apg with the Wizards? :P

Well played.  Yes, I am shocked to see how well he is playing.  I like that he makes to pass out of the pick and roll as soon as the "roller" is open, even though it is not an immediate assist opportunity.  Moving the ball leads to even more ball movement.

Crawford has bought in.  I love it.

but with the wizards crawford was painful to watch since he was an inefficient player who followed many of his good plays with head-scratching mistakes/decisions.

occasionally you still see this, but what impresses me is how he playing disciplined basketball right now. his ill advised shots are few and far between and he rarely plays hero-ball.

so far so good-and-in-control from crawford.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He was doing this last year, contrary to what people want to believe.

His problem is not stat-padding or unwillingness to pass -- it is lapses in judgement when he chucks a three before the play has even developed just because he's open. By the way, he's shown a lot of improvement with that too.

I agree, the lapses in judgement are fewer now. I think that's what Ainge was banking on when he took a flier on Crawford.

one player at a time, if Brad Stevens can control Crawford, we will look good by the time Rondo comes back

He's also not being sent into the game to score as many points as possible in 5-10 minutes to spell the starters this year.

Love what he's doing.

Have to admit to hating his game.

Crawford's play has been an awesome surprise! He has been playing a solid all around game this year, highlighted by nice court awareness and passing!

I thought he was just a blackhole after watching him last year.

Crawford has always been capable of this level of play.  The question is whether or not he is capable of maintaining his discipline for more than a month.  There's every possibility that one season he will put everything together for long enough that he is the conversation for Sixth Man of the Year and use that to get a big, long-term contract that allows him to backslide into the more out-of-control behavior we are used to seeing from him.

Jordan Crawford: Like Bradley, the 2009 draft pick is eligible for an extension on his rookie pact. Said Ainge: "We’re not doing an extension with Jordan right now. We’ll retain his Bird Rights as well."

I did not know he was capable of this type of game. I just hope he has the resolve to not have them hammer the crayon back into his brain.

jordan is a RFA with a qualfying offer of around 3.2 mill, that is if he is offered 3.2 mill for one year than he becomes restricted. His situation is the same as avery's except avery's qualifer is higher 3.5 mill.
