Yeah right, LeBron did everything he could to try and win that game.  As soon as Crawford proved he could still do things in LeBron's face at the end of the 1st, he looked like a man on a mission.

Not on D I saw him play lazy and back off numerous times must not wanted to get posterized as much as he has earlier in the season.

I'd agree with this. James looked uninspired on defense, for his usual standards. Could be attributed to his back problems.

Give Stevens, three years in the league. Then, send him back in a time machine to 2010 Game 7 in LA, where Doc blamed the infamous loss on the free throw disparity ala 'blaming the biased refs' technique.

And lo and behold, strangely enough, that Q4 Laker's rally falls apart, when Fisher misses a contested 3 ... the Celts dig in, and win the finals, 79-74.

we were screwed that game. Doc was 100% correct on that.

Agreed. Lots of "home court advantage" in terms of the whistles that were blown and weren't blown.

They were playing such lazy defense. When Phil Pressey can race upcourt after a made basket and beat a jogging Miami Heat team to the layup, they're not playing at 100%. Chalmers letting him fly by, Beasley giving up pursuit after 2 good steps, Wade purposely not picking up the ball-handler, Lebron sticking to Wallace as if he's a 3-point threat and Bosh was just jogging, clueless to Pressey zooming past him.

A couple minutes later, almost the exact same thing happens. Wade jogs back with his back to the ball, clueless to what's happening. Chalmers lets Pressey blow by him once more, Beasley swipes at the ball but doesn't move his feet,  Bosh is outside the paint glued to Hump and comes over too late, Lebron pretends he'll go up to block Pressey's floater but doesn't actually leave his feet...

Lazy.

The Heat definitely seem lazy.  I know it's early but at the same time you have to work so hard to three peat.  With particularly Indy lurking in the East, among other strong teams, they better step their game up.

LeBron must be having some issues, whether physical on mental. Just look at his hustle stats for the season: fewer blocks, fewer steals, fewer offensive rebounds, and an extra turnover per game.

Wake up call for them definitely. It would surprise no one here if they flip their switch and won the next ten games in a row. Their superstars seemed a step slow at times. I was looking for Miami to step on our throats and get control of the game by 20 points and it never happened. Perhaps they will start kicking everyone's behind soon or maybe, just maybe, age is creeping into their games.
