This team plays hard, and they are fun to watch. I couldn't ask for more.
Agreed...and we'll still end up with a high lotto pick.  This game reminded me of Pitino's first Celtic game where we beat Michael Jordan and the defending champion Bulls.  Loved to see the scrappy young team shock the champ.  That team went on to win 36 games.  That's right around our ceiling.

As usual I DVR'd the game and just now finished watching. I was thinking if this forum ever got a team tweet from the Boston Celtics it might read something like this.....

"TANKS FOR ALL THE CONFIDENCE YOU'VE SHOWN IN THIS YEAR'S TEAM"  ;)

The thing that irritated me the most was the officials who seemed to be  trying desperatly to find a way to award this game to Miami.  it was so cut and dried.  Jeff's feet were behind the three point line and the shot was clearly away in plenty of time. it couldn't have been a time issue because the clock expired when the ball was halfway to the basket. so what were they looking for??? my theory is they were looking for any way they could possibly negate that basket!!!
At any rate, congrats on a great game that almost gave me a heart attack.

Welcome to Bizarro Land... where Boston is tied for the 6th seed in the playoffs and Brooklyn has the worst record in the Eastern conference.

Yah... that's not going to last.

On man Bradley going at Ray, LeBron showing up KO and dribbling the ball off his foot, Crawfords 3 in James face, the Green buzzer beater in James face...

Win or loss that was fun to watch everybody came out hungry and took it to them like the Celtic teams of the past years we all know
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

Holy Moley that was fun to watch!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

My mind: Yay, let's get useless wins, end up with 33-49 and 11th pick. It's not like we are rebuilding and have no shot at making a playoff run. Can anyone say Milwaukee Bucks.

My heart: Take that King James. Nice clutch free throws Mr. Wade. Boooooooooooom Jeff Green!!!!!!!!

I can just imagine Lebron's words in the locker room afterwards...

"Pierce and KG are gone but you know what...I STILL HATE THIS TEAM!"

Turns out I was wrong.  The Celtics were not only not blown out, but they flat out stole the game, and in stunning fashion.  Miami is likely just in a malaise at the moment, but this is still an impressive victory for the C's.

Maybe this team deserves my attention after all.  If this is the effort the team is going to give every night, then they absolutely deserve my attention.  Might have to start to DVR games again.

I have enjoyed the games thus far save for the one where we were blown out for a bit.   Team plays hard, and is competitive.   I wish we had Stevens coaching the last few years instead of Doc.   I love the offensive rebounding.  We are still an ok defensive team and we board.
