Celtic Pride is not a myth, it's a real, tangible energy that carries this club above-and-beyond when things are against them.

Haven't been around much lately, but had to stop in for this one ... how can you NOT love this young, over-achieving team? This was one of the most inspiring wins in a VERY long time. Celtic Pride is not a myth, it's a real, tangible energy that carries this club above-and-beyond when things are against them. Love this team, this young, very realistic coach, and all things green. Go Celtics!!

Guys I think we have the makings of a great coach in Stevens he's picking up the game really fast. Even if we are bad this year I want to keep most of the players and the draft picks.

Tank crowd is on suicide watch

My entire world was just rocked.  I would have been shocked just to see us lose by less than 15.  Actually winning...??... Not even fathomable.  I have to rethink my entire existence.  We just beat the heat.  Forget about tanking... If rondo comes back soon, this team is could massively overachieve and win 30 games this year.   Amazing.   Then who knows... From there we could win 35 next year... Maybe even make the playoffs with the 8th seed.  Shocked.

Danny Ainge is a genius.

TP for showing up.

This Celtic team will be a lottery team, but they're fun to watch, I refuse to root for losses. If they lose, they lose, but they are playing with heart.

Also, beating the Whistles (I refuse to call them Heat anymore on CelticsBlog) with a Green huge shot in Lebroid's face is GREAT. Good night, it's 4.30AM here.

Go Celtics!

Maybe Ainge can switch gears and spend multiple first-round picks to trade for a center at the trade deadline.

I love you when you're snarky.

We're not even at .500 yet. Just enjoy the win.

It's good to see that Celtic pride is alive and well... At least for a game.  I figured it would go on hiatus without kg, but this team has been busting their butt all season.  They don't have much talent, but long term I think we will be fine.  We will land a top 8 pick, make some trades and get right back into the thick of things.

Steven is no where near as good as Doc out of a time out. He has already run this same play a couple of times. Very difficult to execute.

But got to like how things are finally coming together.

True.  But Stevens is way better at subbing

Amen, his player rotations were perfect.

Boston now has a better record than Brooklyn!

oooooo...maybe TWO lottery picks for the celtics!! ha ha....

really, i dont care if they dont win again for 20 games. tonight was terrific. stevens is better than i imagined. his substitutions were complex, varied, and correct.

so many celtics came through, though none more than green. biggest basket of his career perhaps.

thank you brad stevens.

He's made a lot of decisions I've seen as poor, but for some reason or another the decisions end up being good one.

Like I hated him putting KO back in the 4th, and he really came big for us hitting some good shots and some nice passes.

i understand what you are saying and agree. but so far stevens has pushed the right buttons. credit to him, and you can forget me being the celtics coach soon.

olynyk has been poor at shooting for the past games, but i know he will eventually improve. maybe tonight was the boost he needed.

and going with pressey for 20 minutes? some real risk taking by stevens.

but then, what does he have to lose? how people thought it would be "moral victory" if the celtics lost by only 10 points?

i am beginning to love this team and stevens.

I didn't watch the game (can't watch it anyways), but thought it over... only to see on twitter Jeff a trending topic and saw that not only did they win the game but he made the winning shot.
Wow was all I could say.
Brad  looked calm and stone-faced like it was just another day.

Also LeBron's and Ray's face after that three was hilarious.

Oh, and free throws for the C's = 12, free-throws for Miami = 34. Yes, a young team will generally get this unbalance, but that difference is unconscionable. awesome win, guys!

More importantly, I don't know if LeBron could've defended that shot any better.

Glorious.

This team plays hard, and they are fun to watch. I couldn't ask for more.
