Tank for Wiggins? No problem, Adam Silver will do something about that lottery ball behind closed doors!
I'm sure Ernst and Young is just giddy about committing billion-dollar fraud.

For those wanting the team to lose for the best odds for a #1 pick, just look at it like this.

While you may want them to lose, you don't want the team to set any negative records either.  Most losses, worst home record, worst road record, longest losing streak, worst start, fewest points in a game, quarter, half, etc.

You may want the team to lose, but you don't want them to be embarrassed. No 18 game losing streaks like in 2007 please.  A win once every 3,4,5 games isn't bad.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

What you want to see is improvement in the young guys and more cohesion the team.  If they win, they win.  If they lose, they lose.  But the ultimate end game is developing the young guys into assets.
Yup.

So we won in large part because Olynyk and Sullinger looked like effective offensive big men against solid sized and talented Kanter/Favors. I'll take that win or lose in a game this season.

Repeatedly!

On the main topic, I'm with others - I recognize tanking is what's happening and is probably the best strategy.  That doesn't mean I'm not happy to see us win, I just realize it's not going to happen much.

this season, i am actually not rooting for wins and losses since i'm fairly certain that we'll lose more than we win. i'm rooting mainly for player development and entertaining basketball and health.

come offseason though, i'll be rooting for the #1 pick  ;D

For me this win was like in a movie where the hero lands on an awning as he is freefalling off a building, and it catches him for a moment before it tears and he keeps falling down.  Just a win to ease the fall for a moment.... but lets keep losing!  ;D

If we win 1/5th of our games this season, our pick will end up being just fine.

Player development will lead to wins and wins will lead to player development.

I'm rooting for both of those things.  It's not an either/or situation.

Happy.

It is one thing to be a bad team and getting a high pick.

There is no reason to have a team to set the record for sucking.
