At this point Danny should start to seriously consider sending Wallace and two first round picks to whoever will take him for an expiring contract.

The last thing a new coach needs is a disgruntled vet in the ear of impressionable young players. And given he has three years on his contract, he could kill a good young player's outlook on the league and the franchise in that time.

Don't need him. Pay the price and dump him.

Rather just swap him for another junk contract with less attitude, and keep the picks.

So would I but I don't think Danny could do that. Look at the price NJ paid to dump his contract on us

He can complain all he wants as long as he keeps playing like he did tonight.

The obvious crap player with a longer contract at a similar amount of money is DeMar DeRozan, but I think Toronto's GM is looking to get draft picks.

I was actually going to suggest him, as it would allow Toronto to play T.Ross more (he's gonna end up the better player anyways). But we're already the team of 10,000 SGs :P

He did seem to look really good in that 6th man role playing alongside Olynyk and Sully. Stevens may have something there to work with as a bench crew.

Off topic, Fav looked kinda lost tonight

"Crash" talks too much, but he'll be fine.  Much needed good game out of him tonight.  He'll figure it out.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

You could have a great passing bench mob of Olynyk, Sully, Crawford and Crash.

Fav definitely looked like he was trying to do too much.

Fav looked lost against Lopez as well, .....I think the size and ability stuns him.....he isn't used to being out sized  with skilled players.

Fav.....will now have to LEARN his enemies .....how to handle them......sorta like Sully has done better.........

I think Fav was over whelmed  and best to protect his confidence , not let him get killed,    Bringing in Hump was the second best move of Brad.....first was inserting  Pressey at the exact moment .

Thought the first was sending Wallace to the bench. I haven't liked what I have seen with Wallace and Green on the floor together

Cheaper to make an example of him and bench him until he learns his lesson.  I wouldn't play head games with him. If I were Stevens I'd have a talk with Danny and hopefully call Wallace into the office and tell him he's reached his limit for complaining to the media for the year, and in the future if he has problems with anything to say it to Danny/Stevens and not anyone else.....or go home.  You do not have to like it.  When you become a coach...which is a possibility given your history of effort and attempted leadership...you can do what you want, but not now.   We understand you're a vet and have done your best and have earned the right to say stuff a bit, and you did, but that time is over now, and we can't have dumb young guys thinking they can do it, because they can't, but they don't even know that cause they're rookies. Now that we're here do you have any problems we can address?

In the words of an actor that portrayed Steinbrenner (I can't find evidence he said it) "I do not pay them to be happy"

Wallace: "I don't think I can play 35, 40 minutes anymore. Those days are over." Thinks 25 off bench could work.
