We're last in the league in assists and first in the league in turnovers committed.

That is amazing.

And yet somehow a work of art all at once  ;)

Though lest we forget, last season the celtics played UNDER .500 when rondo was in the linup.

So, with these four games this year my guess would be 2-2 so far. Not bad.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

With Rondo + Wiggins, would we still be 0-4?

We're last in the league in assists and first in the league in turnovers committed. All of our losses were by 10 points are less. I don't know that we'd be 4-0 but we haven't lost any games that we couldn't have won with Rondo playing.

We haven't lost any games that we couldn't have won period.

On the other hand, I'm not sure a playing-into-game-shape Rondo saves us from those losses. I'd go 1-3.

I thought you wanted to trade Rondo for DJ Augustin?

Full strength Rondo, I'd say we're easily 2-2, if not 3-1.  We'd have won vs the Bucks and Grizz, and I could see us having beaten one of the other two teams as well.  It's not like we're getting blown out.  We just have nothing going in crunch time.

Of course, I doubt we'll be getting back full strength Rondo for a while after he returns.  I hope C's fans watch how Derrick Rose has been playing and adjust their "when-Rondo-returns" expectations accordingly.  And it could be worse than Rose -- a lot of the key Bulls played with Rose before he got hurt.  Rondo's had a half-season with Green, a half-season with Sullinger, 2 months of Bradley in 2012 when he started to get PT, and maybe a month last season... Really Bass is probably the only Celtic Rondo has played with somewhat extensively.  Rondo has to recover, get back to game speed, learn a ton of new teammates, and learn a new coach.  I doubt the adjustment will be instantaneous.

That said, with any version of a healthy Rondo we beat the Bucks.  So 1-3.

I'd say 1-3.  Boston is just not very good and Rondo isn't going to make that much difference.

I agree, last year's team was below .500 with a healthy Pierce, KG and Rondo.  C's are a 15-22 win team this year.  Rondo is not going to make much of a difference, especially coming off a torn up knee...

If Rondo played would our opponents have taken us as lightly as they have in the first four games?

1-3.
