This is a trade to try if the Cs really are building around Rondo.

While bringing in a player of young's talent might be counter to the tank movement this might be a great opportunity to pick up a young talented player.

All Though the results havent been great I like the Green, Wallace combo. Green at SG gives the Cs a major advantage offensively on most nba teams. If Jeff can become better at fighting through screens this will also not be a negative on D. With that being said why not try to get Young from the over achieving 76ers to place a younger player in wallaces role.

Humphires, Bogans, Brooks and either clipper 2015 or Nets 2014 for Young and Richardson

For the Cs this sheds 3million off the cap this year and gives us a new starting SF in young. Young is only 25 and should thrive playing with Rondo. Without Rondo this still is fare from a playoff team. Richardson's deal runs through next season but his expiring contract becomes a small asset in 2014.

For the 76ers, this deal clears more cap room for them next season and helps them lose games this year while gaining them another 1st round pick.

The long shot ideal situation (aside from winning the lottery) here would be to build a package around Kelly or Sully bass and Rishardsons expiring deals and draft picks (2014 if not top 3, then two future) for LaMarcus Aldridge.

2014-2015

PG Rondo
SG Green
SF Young
PF Sully
C  Aldridge
6th Bradely
7th Wallace
8th Faverani

Young is a PF.  His numbers offensively and defensively are clearly better at PF then SF.

Not huge fan of this trade.  I like Young as the smaller PF off the bench playing close to 30 minutes a game, but not as a building block or a starting SF.
