Humphries has no future with the Celtics. He is basically money they are waiting to disappear sitting on the bench.
Meanwhile, they have Bass and three young big men they want to get experience in this down year.
This.
Also, Bass needs to play because he is a legit trade chip that could get a nice return for us.
I actually like how Hump has played when he has but unfortunately for him we have young bigs we need to develop.
Humphries has no future with the Celtics. He is basically money they are waiting to disappear sitting on the bench.
Meanwhile, they have Bass and three young big men they want to get experience in this down year.
AND now I am even more dumbfounded.
Number one, Bass sucks. Number two, why would you let a 12 million dollar expiring contract just "disappear"?
Why wouldn't you at the very least showcase Humph to get some value for him at the deadline? I thought expiring contracts were suppose to be like gold in the NBA.
1) Bass is good. Saying he sucks throws away all your validity.
2) No one wants Hump at 12 million as a player. They might, might, as a contract and that's it.
3) Bass at about 6.5 is a player that can help a contending team. He has value and should be playing anyways, because yes, he is good and does NOT suck.
