Well we can root for the Nets anyway.  ::)

Someone should sticky a link to their message boards. I'm sure it would get plenty of use.

It'd be nice if the tin foil hats, fire Ainge, fire Stevens, etc posters could just head on over there instead.

Not to worry guys. We'll have plenty of ping pong balls at lottery time.

Hopefully we pick a couple of absolute jets in this draft.

As for this season, yeesh.

I'd love to trade Green, Bradley and the Nets pick to get a probable 2nd lotto pick. Hey, he never plays in the 4th q anyway, even if he is in the game!

Well maybe we can beat the Grizzlies tomorrow  ::)

The tank job.

We could have won two games already but instead we are "experimenting" lineups during the season.

It's hard to watch. Very distasteful. I would a accept a loss inspite of trying to win. Losing on purpose is a flat out punch to the gut.

That Stevens is so apparently with the program has actually perked me up. We'll see the young guys getting time to develop AND get a potential star in the draft.

As a bonus, it looks like Philly is falling out of ping pong contention early.

Appears that almost every single Power Ranking agrees that the Celtics are the worst.

I think they'll be competitive with the other teams in the bottom ten once Rondo returns in mid to late January.

3 games... there's 79 left.

I still think the bottom is going to fall out on the Suns and Philly.

The Bobcats won some games to start last year too.

Is it optimistic to look at it as the "tank half empty" or the "tank high full".
Yup

I haven't seen everybody play, so I don't know who the worst team is.  But, I know which one is my favorite.

Hint:

They played against the Pistons tonight.

Our playoff prediction is not looking very good right now

I still think it's looking okay.  As it always has, it depends heavily on when Rondo returns.

Well, in the interim though, we need two things badly. A true point guard and we need a center. Til we can either get a legit rebounder and/or a guy who knows what he's doing with the basketball, I think we are in trouble.
The point guard thing I fully agree with. However, this front line is not terrible, if the glimpses from Faverani and Olynyk hold up.  Bass is a decent rotation frontman (shouldn't be starting though) and both Green and Wallace can play a bit of PF.

Rondo returning obviously will help, but not as much as some people are thinking. Pressey really ought to be getting playing time NOW so he can back up RR.  Otherwise Stevens will have to slide Bradley over as the backup as we will be right back where we are now whenever Rondo rests. Call this progress?

I agree with you -- both of those teams are bad, also.

However, the Bobcats have Big Al and Kemba Walker, while the Magic have Oladipo, Afflalo, and Vucevic (not to mention Harris coming back from injury).

In other words, those other two teams have multiple players who are better than anybody currently playing on the Celtics, and they have them at key positions -- point guard and center.

No point guard = no wins.

I think we still out suck everybody else  for now.

Our team can play the first three quarters with anybody.

We don't have the assets to compete for the win during the last quarter. At least while Rondo is out.

He's going to fix the kindergarten turnovers.

As much as I love Rondo, he's prone to some dumb turnovers himself.

He should help lead the team as a floor general, though. Right now nobody is really initiating the offense.

I haven't watched a team worse than us thus far, although maybe that's not fair when the organization is actively trying to lose games.
