What kind of upside do you see in Faverani ?

Starter?Back-Up?

I honestly see a very good starter in Fav and possibly in a contending team.

Solid complementary piece so far. Dude has game, and should be in the league for at least another contract.

He is getting the minutes and putting up the numbers.  If he continues, he is a serious ROY candidate.

Want to curb excitement, but it's hard not to be hopeful for what Vitor may be for this team.

28 Rebs and 15 Blks through 3 games (counting final preseason game) is certainly eye catching.

“I thought Vitor did a lot of good things,” Stevens said. “The one thing that I really appreciated and respect about Vitor is Vitor works as hard as anyone on our team."

“If I had to say that the two of the guys that are in the gym most consistently and are doing every single thing every single day, I’d say Vitor along with (Rajon) Rondo. Those guys. They really work at an elite level. And it’s paying off for Vitor.”

Need to see how he fares against the better centers in the league.  Hibbert, Gasol, Lopez, etc.  Sunday against Drummond and Monday against Gasol will be a great learning experience for him.

But he belongs in the NBA, no doubt about it.

When is the last time a Celtic (any Celtic) had at least 12/18/6 in a game!!!??? Never mind a rookie in his second regular season game!!

Heck whose the last ROOKIE to ever do that!?

No unrealistic beliefs that he'll continue putting up numbers anywhere near this, but if he could do 10/6/2 regularly he'll be ALL Rookie and at least a shot at ROY! Our best in quite awhile.

No Celtics has put up those numbers in a game since blocks became a standard stat in 1985-86.

Last season, Bucks rookie John Henson had a 17/25/7 game.

Is Faverani also signed next year for 2 million??

Right now Danny should be slowly thinking about locking this guy up for the long term.

He is a definitely an nba player and only thing from making him exceptional is a better body.

5 years @ 7-8 million a year

Two games is a little soon for that type of contract.  At least Mark Blount gave us two solid months before we awarded him a cap-anchoring deal.

Lol, yeah a little soon to be talking like that.

I believe his contract is $2mill per for 2-3 years.

So far he looks better than Blount and I think he could be better than Perk down the road.   Still too early to sign him.
