A really nice game. Good to see Pierce and KG doing so well, surrounded by talent like they deserve.

Bosh struggles to even intentionally miss a free throw.

I still think it's so overlooked how bad of a 4th quarter player Kevin Garnett is.

Agreed.

As to KG's poor 4th quarter play... I don't buy that. He made arguably the play of the game by fouling Bosh at the half court.

Also, I assume that they didn't call the delay of game on Ray because the Nets' coach had already called time out.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

ditto. nice to see them having another chance to win another ring. it's a real treat seeing them instantly change the attitude of a team.

I enjoy watching PP and KG play with the help they need (especially KG..he can actually take breaks). At this point in their careers, that's how it should be. They shouldn't be having to shoulder an entire team.

Let's go Nets!  Watched the 4th quarter and definiteyl agree it's nice to see PP and KG surrounded by better players.  Blatche and Kirilenko coming off the bench?  That's a deep team.  Just wait until they get to know each other.

It also reminded me of how bad our beloved Celts are now.  :-\

KG and Pierce don't look right in those jerseys.  I still wonder what our team would have looked like if we'd kept the core together, and supplemented the center position.  I think that Vitor would have looked nice playing next to KG.

Next time don't run your mouth about trades, etc - when it comes to PP and KG.

MIA had better beef up their interior...soon.

Happy to see PP and KG have success in BKN and hope to see the Nets playing in June.

No kidding. Haslem looked like a kindergartener standing next to Lopez. Spo even broke the glass on Joel Anthony for a few minutes, to no avail.

The block and the attempted save were great, but the part about that game for PP and KG was this:

P. Pierce -- 31:03
K. Garnett -- 25:48

Minutes played.  Once Kirilenko recovers enough to play more than the ~12 minutes he did last night, they'll be golden. Nice to see the old men getting some rest, so that they can be effective.

Also, BROOK LOPEZ played TWENTY minutes.

PIERCE'S 31 was a team high.
