The Raptors are prepared to trade anyone besides Jonas Valanciunas for the right offer, ESPN.com reports.

Orlando is looking to trade Jameer Nelson for a first-round pick, according to ESPN.com.

"Please take our good players, we dont suck enough to get a top 5 pick so we need to make a trade for that to happen."

Jameer is worth nothing resembling a first rounder unless you're one of the best teams that wants some depth

Agreed. Not very good but with big contract. Pass.

Especially for this upcoming draft.

Nelson is a guy who has always been overvalued his whole career to me.  I actually would like him if he was paid and had the role of a backup guard.

I'm sure Danny's looking to unload Gerald Wallace for a first-round pick, too. Someone alert ESPN.

I'm here to offer myself up as trade bait for a first rounder, too.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

If Ainge and the Raptors FO were willing to agree to a deal in which centers around swapping Jeff Green for Rudy Gay, I am game.

Remember, I believe Rondo and Gay are also good friends.

Give me Gay and a pick for Green and Humphries, like, right now.

No thanks.  That would be awful.

Gay is an overpaid player that hasn't improved.  Green outplayed him last game.

Who won the game?

Better rebounder, better defender. Possibly more clutch.

He is overpaid, that's the only concern, but he's an elite, borderline All Star talent.

Edit. Although Green is making me look silly right now. I'd love to be proven wrong.

If you're paying him max money your team will not contend for a title.  He is an ineffecient scorer and Jeff is a better defender.

True he is overpaid.

But he doesnt take plays off like Green. Green is also a much inconsistent player than Gay is. We don't know what we will get with Jeff, but with Rudy, at worst will give you 15 points, efficient or not. And he will try to score compare to Green, who, just in the last game alone took some rest on the floor.

I don't know about better defender. They are pretty similar to me. Green maybe a bit better one on one, but Gay is a better rebounder.

And yes, Rudy Gay is overpaid, but only until last year. He's not like Amare or Joe Johnson where we have to pay him a ton for three more years, nope. He expires in 2014. If he doesnt work, we can trade him again and that's a big expiring contract ($17 million). If he does then we have a 2nd tier scorer + defender.

I know what we are going to get from Rudy Gay. The guy can score, consistently. Green can score, from time to time. And Rudy is clutch. I haven't seen that from Green yet.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Toronto willing to trade anyone but the guy you actually want, Orlando willing to let you overpay for Jameer Nelson.
