Guys,

Just a heads up.  I spoke to someone "in the know" last night and was told that due to the weather forecast that the unveiling is going to be a private ceremony :-(  This source is about as reputable as it gets, so I wouldn't just recommend going to CHP this afternoon without first at least looking into it.

Looking into it how? On Wednesday's telecast, Gorman told viewers to show up. Also, what does a private ceremony entail? It's at city hall plaza. How do you make it private?

As of yesterday/this morning's Inside The NBA people were still being encouraged to show.

I'd assume that making the ceremony private means keeping the tarps & such up.

Definitely going to try and swing by sometime this week--very excited that A) this statue exists and B) that it's getting all kinds of positive attention.
