I predict the Clippers will have less wins this year than last year.

50-55 win team

I think they will start strong then melt after they figure out that no amount of coaching is going to fix Jordan and Griffins flaws.

The got rid of Vinnie Del Negro.

They added outside shooting.

That fixes their biggest two weaknesses.

I expect them to be top 4 seed in the West.

Yup, no reason they shouldn't continue to be really good baring catastrophic injury.

mid 50s to 60 wins which should get HCA for the first around at least.

2015 1st rounder.

I think they'll have a similar record, and a better seed--OKC's out Westbrook, Denver's not nearly the team they were last year, and the Lakers don't have Kobe.

Clippers could definitely have the best record in the NBA.

As for the playoffs, they need a big though.

I predict they'll underwhelm everyone.  they'll make the playoffs, look like crap while doing it and get knocked off early.

The Clippers are going to continue to improve year on year as Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan grow (so long as CP3 doesn't fall apart). Then you add in upgrades at both starting spots with JJ Redick and Jared Dudley and in the coaching staff with Doc Rivers over Vinny Del Negro and you have more improvement.

The Clippers are getting closer and closer to being a Championship team.

Some of you guys sure hate Doc Rivers  ::)

This is a team that has only improved since last year.  And finally has a real coach.

If they can trade for a big they are 100% a contender.  Depending on how things shake out they could be any way (if there are some injuries in the West or unexpected breaks).

Better than Miami or Chicago?

This has been my thinking as well.

I'm not a Doc fan though ,  so I'm biased .   Or  a CP3 fan of him personally,  admitt he is a great  player.......he and Doc are a lot alike  .....so maybe they deserve each other

I can see regular season coasting in Miami's future... I don't expect them to be the 1 seed, at least.

I'd probably bet Chicago for the best East record, but I think the Pacers are a dark horse (I think they are going to be better than Chicago this year).

But I think the Clippers will win over 60 games.  They won 56 last year and it's hard to see how they won't win more considering they add JJ and Dudley and have Doc coaching now.

With some awful teams, some of these better teams are going to be really high up there.  It'll be interesting to see.

Right now I'd guess someone out of Chicago, Indiana, Clippers has the NBA's best record.

Doc coaching now.

I'm not necessarily rooting against Doc as I have nothing against him.

But it'd be nice if he does the same things he was penalized by fans for in Boston with the supposedly championship caliber roster. The feeling of vindication sure would feel good.

The unnecessary grind and ugliness and needing huge performances in games that should have been won easily is something that I've grown to kind of dislike in the Doc era of basketball.

He's already played Chris Paul like 40 minutes and needed a 40 point performance to win in a preseason game against Denver.

Whatever the case, I'm still very happy that we got a first round pick for losing a coach.

Who really cares what they do in the regular season??  It is what they do in the playoffs that matter, right??  Blake is a CHOKE artist in the playoffs!!  I predict that will continue.  Jordan will have an impressive dunk or two per playoff game, but simply CANNOT be on the floor in crunch time due to his HORRIFIC FT shooting.  That means there will likely not be a good rim protector in the game in the last 6 minutes (when MOST playoff games are decided)!!!  JJ Redick is over hyped and is a TERRIBLE defender!!!  Dudley is a very good defender however, so that will help!!  Doc simply is NOT much, IF ANY, better of a coach than Vinny. I will be STUNNED if they make it to the Western Conference Finals.  STUNNED.  Better chance of a first round exit than getting to the WC Finals IMHO!!
