Obviously there is some bias here, but even still if Brooklyn is healthy come playoffs they are the 2nd best team, to me. But they do need to prove it (why I won't rank them there yet).
Great size at every position, VERY high offensive potential, good defensive potential, the most talented starting 5 in the NBA, a strong bench. I also believe in Kidd as a coach.
A team that can strike Miami where it can be beaten (inside, with PG play, with three pointers). If KG and Lopez are out there what is Miami's answer for two skilled 7 footers? And if they even go small, I'll take AK over Battier or whoever they go small with.
I also think Houston could be a great team. If Howard is playing like Howard of the Magic they have basically a better version of those Magic teams. But yes, also need to prove Howard can be top level.
I'll Just do a top 10:
1. Miami (bounce back, healthy year for a motivated Wade. I've hated him but he is oddly underrated now and people are counting him out)
2. Spurs (I finally won't count them out this year, Leonard poised to make an All-Star level jump)
3. Indiana (elite D, players who can get a bucket in crunch time, better bench, young players improving)
4. Nets (see above, possibly the NBA's most complete team, just prove it)
5. Chicago (elite D, still basically no different than the team that had no answer for when LBJ was on Rose though. A bit overrated, even as I rank them at 5. Though maybe that's me reacting to Bill Simmons, who has them somehow at 1 over Miami)
6. Houston (better version of Magic teams with a coach I like more)
7. OKC (not enough scoring, still don't think Westbrook Durant combo could win a title)
8. Clippers (if only they had better bigs, outside Blake)
9. Memphis (Always wish they would perform better, love the team but not enough outside shooting for a post up team that desperately needs it)
10. Golden State (up and comer. If Curry and Bogut stay healthy, could easily jump up the list. Iggy is a great fit and complement to this team)
