I imagine it was from trying to stick it up a teammate's backside?

Awesome. Thus begins the annual Celtics Injury Parade.

Let the Wiggins watch begin. Well on their way to a 20-25 win season.

Danny, reviewing preseason game tape, thinking:

"Wow, Gerald has really been the best player on the floor for most of preseason!"

<picks up phone, calls trainers>

"Guys, can you check Gerald out? No, I know he seems fine. But really, give him another look. Anything you find that seems to be a concern, anything at all, even something he can play through, shut him down immediately."

Why would Ainge want to sabotage any trade value Wallace might have?

The mysterious lingering injury? Is that lingering from last season? Must be as the comment says it was a bother over the summer as well. Could well be arthritic at his age and considering the minutes he's played over the years.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Happening all summer? if he misses time until December or longer like Rondo there's a decent chance we drop close to/below 20 wins.
Without this guy I believe we're worse than the Magic.
Would be us, Suns, 76ers.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Wallace and Rondo is all that stands between the Celtics worst season EVER....... :'(

This years Celtics could make last years Bobcats look like the Heat this year.

League officials will have to pay off some teams to lose to the Celtics.  For us to win.

Oh wow......   This is so bad.....

A stake right though the heart .......fasten your seat belts ......Gonna crash hard.

Not concerned. No report about severity, and extremely doubtful that Wallace is going anywhere before the end of the season, contract too big. A lost few weeks is not going to irreparably damage his trade value for when the time comes....force Green to take the burn, maybe more likely trade bait anyways...

I don't know how many of you guys have been following Gerald Wallace for his time before the Celtics, but his nickname is only half positive, as far as it relates to his reckless playing style.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
