^^ I know it his job to make his teammates better...
but they'll look stagnant when he's out... we know Green's potential we know he can slash the basket and we know he can create his shots... i just don't get the reason why we have to wait for Rondo in order to compliment him... he needed somebody to smack his senses and remind him on what he can do in the court
We have to wait because Jeff Green is just plain not self-motivated to maximize his potential, if he decides to change then we won't have to wait.
Frankly, I never wanted him here because of his inconsistent, lukewarm attitude and game, but here he is, so we have to take what he gives.
Hopefully something will happen in his head or someone else will snap him out of it and he'll turn the corner.
I just doubt that it will happen if it hasn't already ... hope I'm very wrong about that, but this "flashes of brilliance" thing is enough for some players.
Teams keep betting on his
potential and talent, so he does just enough to make teams roll the dice and cross their fingers.
He doesn't
have to give his all every night so he doesn't ... it's not a successful attitude and it's not a team attitude, but he seems to be fine with it, as long he's getting paid.
